Why choose hand embroidery

Subtle assurances that matter for bespoke projects.

  • Unmatched surface detail — textures that photograph and age well.
  • Durability through technique — reinforced stitches for wear.
  • Material sensitivity — threads chosen for fibre and use.
  • Small-batch attention — one maker per commission where possible.
  • Documented provenance — care instructions and a maker's note with every piece.

Problem & solution

A short account of why we exist and how we solve a common craft problem.

Many garments and interiors lose character when mass-printed or hastily machine-embroidered. Clients wanted individuality and repairable detailing without compromises in longevity. We began by restoring heirloom pieces and translating those exacting methods into new commissions. The result: discrete, repairable embellishment that reads as design rather than decoration. Each commission begins with a material audit, a small prototype stitch, and a clear schedule — reducing uncertainty and aligning expectations from start to finish.
